TACDL President Cynthia Orr said Judges and Attorneys Must Work Together

Texas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers President Cynthia Orr said judges, attorneys and all of those involved in the legal community should work together and treat each other with respect to ensure the best outcomes.

In the September 2003 issue of Voice for the Defense, Orr said she greets her colleagues in the court room before trials. There, the judges treat them as officers of the court with respect for their efforts. All in the legal community stem from a great profession, Orr said, one that serves the government, the people, humanity and history with the goal of enforcing the constitution and providing civil rights.
