NACDL honors Gerry Goldstein with Robert C. Heeney Memorial Award

As reported by The Champion, San Antonio attorney Gerry Goldstein was recognized nationally by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and was given the Robert C. Henney Memorial Award. Goldstein served on the Board of Directors for eight years and currently is serving as the vice president and co-chair of the Lawyer’s Assistance Strike Force.

NACDL’s most prestigious award is given annually to one criminal defense lawyer in the country who best exemplifies the values and goals of the association, according to the article. The Board of Directors established the award in 1981 in honor of Heeney, the 18th president of the organization.
